WoW Forever Hunter Talent Calculator

In Marksmanship, Aimed Shot is no longer a talent but a trained shot from level 20; the tree now ends in Sniper Shot, Classic's old capstone Trueshot Aura sits on row 4, and the tree picks up Lone Wolf (more damage with no active pet), Careful Aim (attack power from Intellect) and Rapid Killing.

Survival leans further into melee: Predator's Edge, Strider Kick and the capstone Lacerating Strikes, a bleed on Mongoose Bite. Wyvern Sting, Classic's Survival capstone, and Killer Instinct are gone from the tree.

Beast Mastery still ends in Bestial Wrath and adds Summon Hawk and Focused Fire. Click a talent to add a point; the page address keeps your build, so you can share it.

Hunter FAQ

Is Aimed Shot a talent in WoW Forever?
Not in beta build 1.60.1.70205: Aimed Shot is in none of the three Hunter trees. The beta client lists it as a baseline Hunter ability from level 20 (the client's minimum spell level; trainer levels are not in the client). The Marksmanship 31-point talent is now Sniper Shot: “A long-range shot that deals ranged damage plus 160 and increases the range of your next 3 Shots by 10 yards for 10 sec.”
Can you play a Hunter without a pet in WoW Forever?
The beta Marksmanship tree has a 1-point talent for it, Lone Wolf: “You deal 20% increased damage with all attacks while you do not have an active pet.”
What happened to Wyvern Sting?
Wyvern Sting was Classic's Survival 31-point talent; it is not in the Survival tree in beta build 1.60.1.70205 (compared with Classic Era build 1.15.9.70003). Survival's 31-point talent is now Lacerating Strikes: “Your Mongoose Bite also causes the target to Bleed for damage equal to 40% of the damage done by Mongoose Bite over 21 sec”

About the data

Forever talents, ranks and tooltips are read from the beta client (build 1.60.1.70205); the Classic comparison uses the Classic Era client (build 1.15.9.70003). Both come from wago.tools. A value shown as [?] is one our export can't resolve yet. Talents can still change before the November 4, 2026 launch. Last updated 2026-10-02.
